I went to school at Michigan State where I got my bachelors degree in Elementary Education with minors in English and Spanish. I am the oldest child and have two younger sisters one who has graduated from Michigan State and works for Dow as a Chemical Engineer and my youngest sister is still at State studying psychology and criminal justice. I was born in Illinois moved to Michigan when I was 6, moved again when I was 13 to Milford, which I consider my hometown and now live in Royal Oak.
I have a four year old cockapoo ( cocker spaniel poodle mix) named Zoie.
I really like to travel and have been very fortunate in my life to have that experience to have already traveled to more than ten countries. I even did a study abroad my junior year in college to the Dominican Republic where I studied business and tourism of the Caribbean.
I also really enjoy sports, last year at NTSD I was the assistant coach for boy's basketball, but enjoy lots of other sports as well.
My favorite color is pink!
My favorite author is Dr. Seuss, love his books and quotes!
This is my second year at NTSD teaching second grade and just can not wait to see what is in store for the 2010 - 2011 school year!!
